Three steps. The middle one matters most.
Most services ask the family and start dialing. Etta is different by design: nothing happens until your parent themselves says yes.
You set it up
Tell us about your parent — their name, their interests, the best time to call, and who to contact if a call is ever missed. Takes ten minutes.
They say yes
Before any check-in call ever happens, your parent hears exactly what Etta is — an AI companion — and personally agrees. Often you're sitting right beside them.
Their consent, not just yoursEtta calls, you know
A warm few minutes each day — sleep, meals, medication, whatever they feel like talking about. Afterwards, a short summary lands in your messages.
The difference between "alive" and "doing well."
A motion sensor tells you the coffee maker turned on. Etta tells you how she sounded.
- A note after every call — mood, meals, medication, anything worth knowing, by text or email.
- Patterns over time — weekly trends in sleep, appetite and spirits, so slow changes don't slip past.
- If she doesn't pick up — Etta retries, texts her, then works through your chosen contact chain.
Be first in line when Etta starts calling.
We're building Etta now, carefully — consent flows first, growth second. Leave your email and we'll write when it's your turn.
Prefer email? Write to hello@ettacalls.com — we read everything.
